The REZource Force is a free STEM energy education program for primary and secondary schools throughout the Central-West Orana REZ. The program was developed to teach students about electricity generation, renewable energy, and the future of the Central-West Orana REZ, while empowering students to take action and become informed energy citizens.
The REZource Force is provided free for primary and secondary schools throughout the Central-West Orana REZ with support from the program sponsor ACEREZ.
The REZource Force program includes an interactive live, in-school performance, on-demand video experience, workbooks for every student, a teacher toolkit, lesson plans, infographic posters, classroom student projects, showcase events, and school rewards, available via The REZource Hub at REZourceForce.com.au.
To join The REZource Force simply fill out the SIGN UP (https://www.rezourceforce.com.au/sign-up)request form on our website, email us at schools@rezourceforce.com.au or call us on 1300 652 470 and a member of our team will contact you. Our program calendar fills quickly, so it's important to get in contact as soon as you can to schedule your live, in-school performance at an available time that suits you.
Select schools located in the Central-West Orana REZ are eligible to join The REZource Force. If you wish to confirm your eligibility, please contact us via the expression of interest SIGN UP (rezourceforce.com.au/sign-up)form, call us on 1300 652 470 or email us at schools@rezourceforce.com.au
To participate in The REZource Force program, schools are required to undertake the following:
• To kick off the program, those schools with more than 50 students will receive the live, in-school performance, while those schools with fewer than 50 students will receive the on-demand video production experience. Schools are required to ensure that all students have the opportunity to watch the respective live performance or on-demand experience.
• Participating schools must distribute the curriculum resources to all teachers and students.
• Participating schools agree to implement the provided STEM projects with student teams.
• Participating schools agree to host a student project Science/STEM Expo at their school, no later than end of Term 4, 2025.
• Participating schools must provide a Program Administrator as the contact point to oversee the program.
