School Challenge
Terms and Conditions

1. Overview
The REZource Force School Challenge is an educational initiative encouraging students to explore creative ways to save energy and protect the environment. By entering the Challenge, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility
The Challenge is open to all primary and secondary schools that are confirmed participants in The REZource Force education program.
Students may enter individually, in small teams, or as a whole class.
Each entry must be supported and submitted by a teacher or school representative.

3. How to Enter
Teachers guide student projects to align with classroom goals and curriculum outcomes.
Projects may be presented in any creative format — including posters, videos, models, written reports, performances, or digital presentations.

To be eligible for rewards, completed projects must be submitted by the Showcase deadline of Friday 28th November via the official website:

4. Rewards and Recognition
One Primary School and one Secondary School winner will be selected in each category.
Winning schools will each receive a $500 cash prize.
All submitted projects are eligible to be featured in The REZource Force Online Showcase.
Prizes are awarded to the school and not to individual students.
Judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. Submission Requirements

  • Projects must be the original work of the students or class submitting.

  • Submissions must not include any third-party copyrighted material without permission.

  • Entries must be appropriate for all audiences and must not contain offensive or discriminatory content.

  • Late, incomplete, or inaccessible submissions may not be considered.

6. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights
By submitting a project, participants grant The REZource Force program and its partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, and display submitted content (including student first names, school names, and project media) for educational and promotional purposes connected to the program, including online and social media use.
Personal contact details will not be shared publicly.

All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws. Information will be used solely for administering and promoting The REZource Force School Challenge.
