Thank you for taking the time to educate your students and their families about renewable energy.
On this page you can access all the resources you need to supplement the program.
Participating in this program and using its supplementary materials is easy and can integrate seamlessly with your established teaching methods, and remember to direct your students to the appropriate Student Activities page!
Here's a run-down on the best ways to use these resources:
BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE

Share the Meet The Actors video HERE with your students before they come to your school.

Review the student workbook to identify the appropriate level of activities for your class.

From the student workbook, discuss with your students the Words To Know vocabulary list and plot of the story.
DAY OF THE PERFORMANCE

Your actors will arrive approximately 40 minutes before your scheduled performance times.

Please ensure you have notified your front office, and that you have your venue clean and clear and ready for their setup time.

Prepare classroom teachers to ensure students are lining up outside the venue 5 minutes before the scheduled time to ensure we can start on time and keep on track with your school timetable.

We would love to see photos of the visit, so please email us any photos or videos you have permission for us to share - and receive a $20 gift card!
AFTER THE PERFORMANCE

Go to heyteachers.org and enter the code ACE25 to evaluate the program.

Hand out the Student Workbooks and have your students complete their activities.

Help your students to make use of the online games and educational activities to engage and reinforce the energy education.

Guide participating students to The REZource Force School Challenge and help them pick a STEM project, or pick a project for your whole class.

Start to prepare for your in-school STEM expo.

LIVE IN-SCHOOL PERFORMANCE
The REZource Force live in-school performance is touring to schools throughout the Central-West Orana REZ.
With versions for Primary (Years 1-6) and Secondary (Years 7-10) students, The REZource Force will ignite students' curiosity about electricity generation, renewable energy, and the future of the Central-West Orana REZ, while empowering students to take action and become informed energy citizens.
EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS
The REZource Force aligns with the NSW Curriculum and pairs excellently with what students are learning in class. You can view the program's curriculum connections HERE.

Primary - Years 1-6
Watch this exciting On Demand Performance of REZ Energy Agents - The Show! with your students in class, or direct them to the student resource page so they can watch 'REZ TV' on their own.
Energy Game Changers
Digital Experience
Secondary - Years 7-10
Explore the Energy Game Changers – Digital Experience with your class, or direct students to the 7-10 student resource page to work through the four interactive levels independently. The program introduces key concepts in electricity generation, renewable resources and the environmental impacts of energy use.
SCHOOL CHALLENGE
The REZource Force School Challenge invites students to get hands-on with energy through innovative STEM projects.
Students will explore:

How electricity is generated

How renewable energy is powering Australia's future
-
How they can be part of the energy transition
Projects are curriculum-aligned, flexible, and designed for easy delivery—especially in rural and regional schools with limited resources.
You only need to submit one project to take part in the Challenge. It can come from one student, a small team, or a whole class working together.
